Akuwa Skincare is committed to delivering clean products that are toxic-free, fragrance-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and earth-conscious. Each ingredient is added with attention and intention. Meaning, we only use ingredients that are researched, safe for your skin, safe for the environment, and effective. We make clean skincare an effortless obligation.

THOUGHTFUL PACKAGING

Keeping the earth clean is also a part of our mission. 2018, in the U.S. alone, 7.9 billion units of ridge plastic was created for the cosmetics industry.₁ In 2018, landfills received 27 million tons of plastic.₂ We want to do our part to reduce as much waste as possible! We chose to have our product in glass bottles so they can be recycled an infinite number of times, reducing the amount of plastic that ends up in landfills. Our bottle caps are made of single material and can be recycled. Our water-activated packaging tape is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. We use tissue paper that is made from post-consumer & post-industrial content and is recyclable and naturally biodegradable. We still have a long way to go, but every effort counts.
